CANTON, Ohio - For the second straight week, the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) has recognized a Northern Kentucky River Monster for their efforts in special teams. (UIFL Weekly Report )
This week the Edge Sportswear Special Teams Player of the Week is running back and kick returner Maurice Douse. The indoor veteran had five returns for 98 yards in Northern Kentucky's first loss of the season.
The River Monsters will play their first home game of the season Friday when the welcome the Johnstown Generals to the Bank of Kentucky Center. Tickets can range from $7 to $25 and can be purchased by onlineor by calling 859-572-7595.
The Northern Kentucky River Monsters are inaugural members of the six-team Ultimate Indoor Football League. The River Monsters, a professional indoor/arena football team, play their home football games at the Bank of Kentucky Center on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.
