Lynn, MA- Fraser Field turns 75 years old this upcoming summer so needless to say, there have been plenty of big games played right here in Lynn. The North Shore Navigators are adding to that list as on Tuesday afternoon General Manager Bill Terlecky announced that his ball club will be hosting the 2015 Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) All-Star Game.

"The Navigators are proud to represent Lynn and the North Shore," said Terlecky. "We are ready to invite the rest of the league, major league scouts, and star collegiate players from around the country to town for the marquee event of the Futures League season. It is always an honor to be able to showcase our city and show them everything Lynn has to offer by hosting your colleagues in your ballpark for a night of baseball and fun- NAVS style!"

Last season the FCBL All-Star Game was held at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton and had nearly 2,800 people in attendance. Many people, including State Representative Brendan Crighton, have nothing but excitement for the event.

"This is another example of the Navigators' positive impact on our city," said Crighton. "It is an honor for Lynn to be hosting this great event and we are excited to show off the many improvements we've made to Fraser Field over the past few years."

In addition to the game, be ready to laugh non-stop as the national touring act, The Zooperstars, have been booked to bring their fantastic and fun characters to entertain fans. The Zooperstars have made over 1,000 appearances at sporting events around the country including at Wrigley Field and Quinnipiac University, over the past 20 years and are a crowd-pleasing favorite.

"We're looking forward to bringing our summer showcase to the great city of Lynn," said FCBL Commissioner Chris Hall. "Pat Salvi and Bill Terlecky will put on a first-class event, not just for the league but also for the city of Lynn. They will make us proud as they have since first joining the league."
