North Carolina Courage Preseason Update

North Carolina Courage News Release


Cary, NC (Feb. 19, 2018)- The North Carolina Courage will play a total of six preseason matches in preparation for the 2018 NWSL Season including a match against Clemson on Sunday, March 11.

Preseason matches will be interspersed throughout the team's preseason training regimen, kicking off with a match against UNC-Chapel Hill on Sunday, Feb. 25, and concluding with a history-making match at Richmond's City Stadium against the Washington Spirit on Saturday, March 17.

Games are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, Feb 25: NC Courage vs. UNC-Chapel Hill, 11 a.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park

Thursday, March 1: NC Courage at NC State, 11:30 a.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium

Sunday, March 4: NC Courage vs. Tennessee, time TBA at WakeMed Soccer Park

Sunday, March 11: NC Courage vs. Clemson, 3:30 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park

Tuesday, March 13: NC Courage vs. Wake Forest, 3 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park

Saturday, March 17: Washington Spirit vs. NC Courage, 7 p.m. at City Stadium, Richmond, Va. Click here for tickets.

The NC Courage will open their highly-anticipated sophomore season at home in an NWSL Championship rematch against the Portland Thorns in the NWSL Game of the Week on Lifetime. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. Tickets for the NC Courage home opener go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. ET.
