
NLL Playoff Scenarios
April 12, 2003 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
The following are the NLL playoff scenarios following games of April 12. There are two games tommorow (VAN @ NJY, COL @ TOR).
BUFFALO (12-4)
Buffalo is the fourth seed and will host Calgary in the opening round of the playoffs.
ROCHESTER (12-4)
Rochester has won the Central Division title and the first overall seed in the playoffs. Rochester has home floor throughout the postseason/
TORONTO (11-4)
Toronto clinched the Northern Division title and will be the second overall seed in the playoffs. Toronto has clinched a first round bye. Toronto will be hosting a semi-final game on Saturday, April 26th at 4:30 PM.
PHILADELPHIA (8-8)
Philadelphia can win the Eastern Division title with a Colorado loss in Toronto on Sunday. Philadelphia cannot win a wild card playoff berth.
COLORADO (8-7)
Colorado can win the Eastern Division title and the third overall seed in the playoffs with one win. Colorado cannot win a wild card playoff berth.
VANCOUVER (8-7)
Vancouver can clinch a wild card playoff berth by winning in New Jersey tommorow, OR a Colorado loss at Toronto tommorow.
CALGARY (9-7)
Calgary has clinched the fifth seed in the playoffs and will be visiting Buffalo in the opening round.
ALBANY (8-8)
Albany's season is complete. Albany can earn the sixth seed with losses by Vancouver AND Colorado on Sunday.
COLUMBUS (8-8)
Columbus is mathematically eliminated from playoff contention by virture of Calgary's victory over Buffalo.
