OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Shawn Williams (Rochester) scored four goals and added three assists (4g, 3a, 7 pts.) in a 13-7 win over the Ottawa Rebel. Williams had five points in the fourth quarter.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gord Nash (New York) made 55 saves and added three assists (3a, 3 pts.) in a 18-16 loss to the Vancouver Ravens. Nash collected 12 loose balls.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Travis Gillespie (Columbus) scored one goal and added three assists (1g, 3 a, 4 pts.) and collected eight loose balls in a 13-12 loss to the Philadelphia Wings. Gillespie held Philadelphia's Jeff Ratcliffe to one assist and two shots on goal.
OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gary Gait (Colorado) scored six goals (6g, 0a, 6 pts.) and collected six loose balls in a 18-12 win over the Vancouver Ravens. Gait scored three goals in the second half.
