Upper Marlboro, MD. The Maryland NightHawks continue to commit to becoming visible in the community through appearances and local events. "We are having great times at the local events we participate in. The community is starting to reach back out to us and we appreciate them wanting us to be involved with their activities," commented Ashlee Fontes, NightHawks' Assistant General Manager.
The next event on tap for the NightHawks is the Villages of Marlboro Community Day. The event is on Sunday, October 17 from 12PM â 3PM at the Marlboro Golf Club. There is something for everyone with the offered entertainment and activities, (moon bounce, DJ, face painting, free golf lessons, etc.) and a menu of refreshments. Admission is free for the 4,000 plus residents and non-residents are welcome a $5 admission fee, local businesses will attend in support of the community as well. Come out for some family fun for everyone!
Sunday, October 24 from 11:30AM to 12:30PM, the Largo High School Student Government Association will present the NightHawks at their 2004 Homecoming Parade. The parade will start at Largo High School and will journey through the Largo community for 1.5 miles, then concluding back at the school at 12:30PM.
The NightHawks keep adding local events to their calendar to ensure success off the court is as important as success on the court. The Maryland NightHawks is the new professional Men's Professional Basketball Team in the area.
