Omaha Nighthawks News Release
The Omaha Nighthawks and KMTV Channel 3 have reached an agreement to become broadcast partners for the upcoming United Football League season.
KMTV Channel 3 News will host a weekly television show featuring the Nighthawks coaches, players, cheerleaders and staff as the UFL's first expansion team begins its inaugural season in Omaha, Nebraska. The Nighthawks play an eight-game schedule, starting Friday, September 24 against the Hartford Colonials at home at Rosenblatt Stadium, kickoff 7pm.
According to KMTV Marketing Director Willie Garret: "The show is going to give viewers a no holds barred, all-access pass to players, coaching staff, and even cheerleaders. This should be very fun!"
The "Omaha Nighthawks All Access Show" will air every Saturday morning at 10.35am CST throughout the season. KMTV will broadcast the first show on Saturday, September 18 when the UFL season kicks off and the Nighthawks open with a bye week.
"We are thrilled about working with the Omaha Nighthawks," added Garrett. "With our company's larger footprint of radio and TV, this partnership is an added benefit to help both Journal Broadcast Group and the Nighthawks organization reach a large and diverse segment of the local market."
