May 10, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maryland NightHawks News Release
Rockville, MD. Four ABA Maryland Nighthawks stars including All-Stars Randy Gill and Ray Cunningham, along with Frank McQueen and Anton Jenifer, are among a select group of players who will be included in the TOPPS 2006-2007 NBA trading card series.
Maryland Nighthawks owner and attorney, Tom Doyle, who represented ten players in the deal, stated, "This is a welcome tribute to these players who have proven their skills on the asphalt and game of basketball, and to have this recognized by a world renowned trading card company such as TOPPS is well deserved and long overdue. In addition to the ABA, these players are among the best Street Ball players in the world too."
