
Nighthawks sign pair

Maryland NightHawks News Release
Upper Marlboro, MD. Andrew Haines, owner of the ABA Maryland Nighthawks professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November, today announced the signing of two players.
According to Haines, "Both players were noticed at an open tryout in Bowie, Maryland on July 10th - both exhibited great skills and really stood out. They're very talented, very exciting to watch."
Former Bowie State University standout Anton Jenifer (5'10", 170lb Guard) was the first to sign. Jenifer started all 29 games as a senior for the Bulldogs and averaged 21.2 ppg, 5 assts, 4 rebounds and was named all CIAA First Team, All Region. He also received All-American JUCO honors. Jenifer attended Walbrook High School in Baltimore, MD.
Kevin Robinson (6'11" - Forward/Center) played two seasons with the University of Southern Indiana. Prior to that, he played for Butler Community College averaging 10 ppg and 5 rebounds over two seasons.
