"We believe we will find talented players who are capable of earning a roster spot with the Nighthawks," said General Manager RICK MUELLER, who is proud to bring the UFL search for talent to his hometown. "Florida has a reputation for producing quality football players and Jacksonville has produced countless professional players, so we are excited to begin our search at The Bolles School."

Mueller, who spent six years in the Jacksonville Jaguars front office and a further eight with the New Orleans Saints, was instrumental in bringing NFL caliber players to the Nighthawks last season, including quarterback Jeff Garcia, running back Ahman Green, linebacker Kato June, and former Jaguars first round NFL Draft pick Renaldo Wynn.

All are welcome and those who truly possess the qualities the Nighthawks staff are looking for in 'walk on' players will have a genuine shot at making the Nighthawks roster for the 2011 season, which kicks off in mid-August. In 2010, among the highlights of players who came through the tryout process were Hartford Colonials running back Andre Dixon and the ultimate success story in 2010 UFL Championship Game MVP quarterback Chase Clement.

The Nighthawks will also hold tryouts at Buddy Echols Field in Coppell, near Dallas, TX, on Saturday, March 26 and in the Nighthawks' backyard at Bellevue West High School in Bellevue, NE on Saturday, April 9.
