June 16, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL) News Release
LAFAYETTE, LA--The National Indoor Football League is pleased to announce the top players from Week 14 action, as follows:
Atlantic Conference
Jarvis Dunn, Running Back - Houma Bayou Bucks
Co-Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week
The Bayou Bucks running attack, led by Jarvis Dunn, proved key as Houma went on to defeat the Beaumont Drillers 74-66 on Saturday. Dunn carried the ball 22 times for 94 yards and six touchdowns, in addition to hauling in one reception for 32 yards and a score. Dunn was also responsible for scoring the game winning touchdown with 1:55 left on the clock in the 4th quarter.
Justin Peery, Quarterback - Show Me Believers
Co-Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week
Show Me quarterback Justin Peery helped lead the Believers to a 69-66 upset win over the Horsemen in Lexington. Peery completed 30 of 42 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns. He also ran the ball 11 times for 30 yards and three more scores.
Chon Lacey, Cornerback - Atlantic City CardSharks
Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week
CardSharks cornerback Chon Lacey played a key defensive role as Atlantic City defeated Fort Wayne, 41-27, on Saturday. Lacey was responsible for two total tackles, including one tackle for a loss, three passes defended, and two interceptions including one returned 21 yards for a touchdown in the 1st quarter.
Bruce Reineker, Kicker - Carolina Rays
Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week
Carolina kicker Bruce Reineker was responsible for 13 total points as the Rays notched a win over the Staten Island Xtreme Monday night. Reineker was a perfect 7 of 7 on extra point attempts and also completed two field goals, from 18 and 30 yards out, as the Carolina Stingrays won 55-32 over the Xtreme in Florence, SC.

Alex Neist, Quarterback - Tri-City Diesel
Pacific Conference Offensive Player of the Week
Tri-City quarterback Alex Neist helped guide the Diesel to a win over the Lincoln Capitols this past Friday night. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder from Fairmont, MN completed 13 of 19 passes for 105 yards and five touchdowns as the Diesel went on to win 55-34 on the road in Lincoln.
Abriam Stovall, Linebacker - Sioux City Bandits
Pacific Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Sioux City linebacker Abriam Stovall helped anchor the Bandits defense as they went on to defeat the Black Hills Red Dogs 37-12 on Saturday. Stovall was responsible for 9.5 total tackles, including two tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one sack and one quarterback hurry.
Chase Long, Kicker - Omaha Beef
Pacific Conference Player of the Week
With seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter, Chase Long kicked the game winning field goal for the Beef, giving them the 56-54 win over the Wyoming Cavalry. Long's efforts on the night accounted for 20 total points as he completed 5 of 6 field goal attempts, from 18, 20, 24, 27, and 35 yards out, along with 5 of 6 extra point attempts in the Beef win.
