Chicago Storm News Release
MELROSE PARK, IL - Nick Mitrovich rejoins the Chicago Storm as the teams' public address announcer for the upcoming 2007-08 season. Nick held the same position with the Storm in 2004-05 and 2005-06.
"I can't begin to explain how excited I am to be back with the Storm," stated Mitrovich. "They're the organization that gave me my first opportunity behind the mic. Now after a year away, I can't express how much I missed the fast-paced indoor game, the devoted fans, the strong team that the Storm puts on the field and being a part of the game day event that is a Chicago Storm game. I've always been a fan of the Major Indoor Soccer League and I hope that my approach to the game lends to the fans experience."
Besides working for the Storm, Nick is a sports Producer for WGN Television. From a public address side, he is the voice of the Chicago Fire of the MLS, Chicago Shamrox of the NLL and various soccer events in and around the city of Chicago.
The Chicago Storm is a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) since 2004. Chicago's professional indoor soccer team plays its home games at the all-new Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates with the 2007-08 season kicking off Saturday October 27th versus the California Cougars. Storm offices are located at 1945 Cornell Ave., in Melrose Park.
