NFL mascots to invade Crush game
March 1, 2004 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Colorado Crush News Release
Fans attending the Thursday, March 4 game between the Colorado Crush and Detroit Fury will not only be treated to the exciting, fast-paced action of Arena Football, they will also have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the mascots of the National Football League. Kids and adults alike will be treated to the antics and exploits of these colorful characters, including Denver Broncos mascot Miles, who will be posing for pictures, signing autographs and playing an exhibition football game during halftime.
The game is also Kids Night Out, and children age 14-and-under will receive free admission with each paid adult.
Only one-half game separates the Crush and Fury in the standings of the American Central Division so the action on the field promises to live up to the AFL's "50-Yard Indoor War" moniker. The 3-1 Crush are currently in second place in the division, one-half game ahead of the Fury (2-1) who enter the game as winners of two straight. A win would move the Crush to within one-half game of the first-place Chicago Rush, pending their game Sunday vs. Philadelphia.
Tickets for the game start at just $7 and can be purchased by calling (303) 830-TIXS or by logging on to ticketmaster.com.
