Brevard County Manatees News Release

Ah, the madness is taking hold and some of you are beginning to pick up the trail of the coin. Eight of you solved our last cryptogram and received an important clue on the 12th, two weeks ahead of everybody else. What you did with it during those 14 days was up to you, but then on Friday everybody received it and got caught up. Remember, your job is to assemble the clues and try to make sense of them. This game isn't for those who can't look at things from a different angle, so if you're playing along, here you go...if you do solve this clue, and that's a big if, ensure you bring a pen or pencil with you to the appointed location to decipher the next clue because we will not be providing you with one. Only those that solve this clue (and the following clue that will be provided at the appointed time and place) will receive a bonus clue, so a lot hinges on you solving this one to get a step ahead of your competition. Those that are already deleting this, that's what your competition wants you to do. Those that decipher this will be in elite company and although it won't preclude you from finding the coin, those that don't will truly be behind the eight-ball and will have to work harder on the next clues. The results of this clue that lead to a subsequent clue will not be revealed in a future newsletter. You either solve it before the deadline or you don't, and we're not telling you what the deadline is, because that would take away a sense of urgency, wouldn't it? That's something Uncle Sam taught me on some serious night land navigation courses back at Ft Bragg.

So you will do this tonight not knowing when the deadline is because you won't sleep tonight if you don't. You know it, I know it, so you better get going, Mate.
