
Newport Gulls vs Martha's Vineyard Sharks Cancelled Tonight

Tonight's home game against the Martha's Vineyard Sharks of the NECBL Southern Division has been canceled due to field conditions unfit for play as a result of inclement weather. A make-up date will be announced once a date has been determined by both teams.
We would like to thank Newport Financial for their support of Newport Financial Goes to Bat Against Alzheimer's Night and Rhode Island Lt. Governor Daniel McKee who was also supposed to be in attendance tonight. The Gulls travel to the Valley Blue Sox on Saturday and then to the Ocean State Waves on Sunday to make up a postponed game from Thursday, June 20th.
The Gulls are back home on Monday for Saccucci Honda Strike for an SUV Star Wars Night as the Gulls take on the New Bedford Bay Sox. Gates open at 5:00 PM and 6:35 PM will be the game's First Pitch. Gulls fans will have the chance to win a BRAND NEW CRV. If a fan throws a baseball through a 6" diameter hole from a minimum of 120' away, they are driving away in a new vehicle courtesy of Saccucci Honda. Fans may sign up for this incredible opportunity by heading down to Saccucci Honda at 1350 West Main Road in Middletown or at the ballpark on Monday but only first 100 individuals will be eligible! Ten individuals will give it their best shot on-field in-between each inning. Eligibility terms and conditions apply.
