
Newfoundler becomes first member of Fog Devils

St. John's Fog Devils News Release
The St. John's Fog Devils Hockey Club announced today that Newfoundland native Scott Brophy has become the first on-ice member in franchise history after the hockey club selected him 1st Overall in today's QMJHL Expansion Draft.
The 5'9, 162lb center, who played with the Gatineau Olympiques last season, scored 14PTS (4G,10A) and had 25PIM in 52 games. He has played 2 seasons with the Olympiques and took part in the 2004 Memorial Cup after the Olympiques won the QMJHL Championship.
The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its inaugural season in September 2005.
Season Ticket information is currently available at the Fog Devils website (www.fogdevils.com). Former Season Ticket Holders of the St. John's Maple Leafs are currently being given first right to their seats until June 8. After this dates, Season Tickets will be available to the public.
