
New York's Garcia, Orlando's White, And Columbus' Barre Earn Week 11 Honors

NEW YORK - New York Dragons QB AARON GARCIA, Orlando Predators DL GREG WHITE, and Columbus Destroyers WR/DB BJ BARRE have been named Offensive Player, ADT Defensive Player, and Ironman of the Week, respectively, for Week 11 of the 2007 season.
OFFENSIVE: Garcia (6-1, 195, Sacramento St.) completed 22-of-34 passes for 264 yards and eight touchdowns as the New York Dragons (3-7) defeated division rival Philadelphia (4-6), 69-49, at the Wachovia Center on Monday night. Garcia, in only his second game since returning from a leg injury, led New York on scoring drives on nine of the Dragons first 10 possessions on their way to posting the teams' highest point total of the season. New York next welcomes the Kansas City Brigade (6-4) to Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, May 20, at 1 p.m. ET (FSN Midwest - Live, FSN New York - Live).
ADT DEFENSIVE: White (6-3, 285, Minnesota) recorded 3.5 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 3.0 tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble as the Orlando Predators defeated the New Orleans VooDoo, 42-33, on Friday. White, in his second AFL season, recorded key stops on four VooDoo possessions inside the Predators red zone that resulted in only two field goals and two interceptions. White notched sacks and tackles for loss with New Orleans on Orlando's six, 20, and 15-yard lines. His two quarterback hurries on third downs led to incomplete passes that resulted in interceptions on the next play. Orlando (4-6) travels to Austin to face the Wranglers (3-7) in a Mitsubishi Motors Southern Division matchup on Sunday, May 20, at 4 p.m. ET (SUN - Live, FSN Southwest - SDD, 5/21, at 12 a.m. ET).
IRONMAN: Barre (6-2, 210, Ohio St.) registered the game's first touchdown on offense with a nine-yard reception, and then stretched the Destroyers third quarter lead to 12 with his second touchdown of the day on a two-yard run as Columbus defeated the Grand Rapids Rampage, 59-56, at Nationwide Arena on Friday. On defense Barre, in his second AFL season, notched eight tackles and one pass defense as the Destroyers won their fifth consecutive home contest. Columbus (6-4) travels to the Pepsi Center to face Colorado on Friday, May 18 (7-4) at 9 p.m. ET on (FSN - Rocky Mountain - Delay, 5/19, at 12 a.m. ET, FSN Ohio - Delay, 5/19 at 12 p.m. ET, AFL NET).
Offensive Player of the Week candidates included: Tampa Bay QB Brett Dietz, Columbus QB Matt Nagy, Kansas City QB Raymond Philyaw, Orlando QB Shane Stafford, San Jose QB Mark Grieb, Arizona QB Sherdrick Bonner and WR Trandon Harvey.

Ironman of the Week candidates included: Columbus WR/DB Harold Wells, Tampa Bay WR/DB Lawrence Samuels, Kansas City WR/DB Boo Williams, San Jose WR/DB Jason Geathers, New York WR/DB Chris Anthony, and Dallas WR/DB Will Pettis.
