Orlando Titans News Release
New York, NY - The New York Titans have named Blane Harrison assistant coach and have hired Corey Hallman as a Canadian scout.
Harrison joins Head Coach Adam Mueller's coaching staff after nearly twenty years of coaching experience at the youth and college level for indoor lacrosse and field lacrosse. Harrison's coaching resume includes a stint as the assistant coach for Michigan State Men's Lacrosse during the 1986 season.
Harrison has also enjoyed great success as an indoor lacrosse player, winning back to back Canadian Championships as a player on the Brooklin Redmen Major Lacrosse Club in 1987 and 1988 and was a three-time winner of the "Best Defenseman" award in Canada. As a field player, Harrison represented Canada in the World Cup in 1982 and 1986 and was a member of the Michigan State University varsity lacrosse team, where he was a First Team All-Midwest selection.
"Blane has a wealth of experience from both field and indoor lacrosse that will fit perfectly with the make up of our team," said Titans Head Coach Adam Mueller. "Having played for and with Blane in the past, I am confident that he is another piece that will improve the Titans in year two."
The Titans have also hired Corey Hallman as a Canadian scout. Hallman has a lifetime of experience playing, coaching and working with Canadian indoor lacrosse clubs. Hallman has been the General Manager of the Kitchener-Waterloo Braves Junior 'A' indoor lacrosse club since 2003 and is currently the Chairman of the Board of the Ontario Junior 'A' Lacrosse Council.
