
New York Titans Have Third Pick in 2007 NLL Draft

New York, NY - The New York Titans currently hold the third pick in the 2007 NLL Entry Draft, which will be held on September 1st at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Col. at 4pm EST. The draft, which consists of six rounds, features the top lacrosse talent from U.S. college programs as well as Canada's junior lacrosse system. The Boston expansion team currently holds the first overall selection. Visit www.nll.com for the entire 2007 NLL Entry Draft selection order.
The weekend's activity begins on Friday, when the league will host an invite-only combine for 40 of the top draft prospects. The potential draftees will participate in clinics and drills, before a Combine Game on the turf at Pepsi Center at 8pm EST. Both Friday's combine game and Saturday's draft is free and open to the public.
"We are excited to be holding our Entry Draft in Denver and in front of the great fans of the Colorado Mammoth," said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. "The Mammoth and Pepsi Center have hosted the NLL All-Star Game in 2004 and Opening Night of the regular season on three occasions. We are pleased to bring yet another important league event to Colorado for the first time with the 2007 Entry Draft".
The Titans will have six selections in the Draft:
First Round - 3rd and 13th picks
Second Round - 17th pick
Third Round - 31st pick
Fifth Round - 59th and 68th picks
