New York Streets to Play Next Home Game Monday, May 27 at 3pm

NEW YORK, N.Y. - May 9, 2019 - The expansion New York Streets of the National Arena League (NAL) announced today that the team's next home game against the Massachusetts Pirates will be played Monday, May 27 at 3:00 p.m. EDT at the historic Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y. The May 27 game will mark the team's second home game and was rescheduled from a previously announced date.

The Streets started the season with two straight wins, 52-41 over the Jacksonville Sharks on April 13, followed by a convincing victory over the Orlando Predators, 70-31, in the home opener on April 20. After a bye week, the Streets suffered the franchise's first loss, 48-33, to the defending NAL champions, the Carolina Cobras.

Head coach Rick Marsilio leads a team stocked with talent including, on the offensive side, QB E.J. Nemeth (Sacred Heart), WR Rob Jones (Delaware), WR Edgar Allen Poe, Jr. (Army) and WR Devante Jenkins (Southern Connecticut State). Defensively, the Streets are anchored by a trio of linemen from the SEC, Herbert Moore (Ole Miss), Isaac Gross (Ole Miss) and Brandon Ivory (Alabama) along with standout LB Devan Stringer (Appalachian State).

The Streets are owned by Brooklyn native and New Rochelle resident Corey Galloway, whose company, Legacy Growth Partners, is a driving force in strategic business development and direct investment. Galloway and his wife, Tamara, who serves as the franchise's Chief Revenue Officer, are the first and only African American owners of a professional football franchise in New York.
