New York Red Bulls II Name Jamie Ponce Business Director

HARRISON, NJ - October 27, 2016 - New York Red Bulls II of the United Soccer League (USL) announced today that Jamie Ponce has been named Director, Business Operations. Effective December 1st, Ponce will oversee the day-to-day business operations for the club including initiatives supporting ticket sales, marketing partnerships and strategy. He will report directly to Red Bulls II General Manager and Red Bull Arena Chief Operating Officer, Shaun Oliver. Ponce is a five-year veteran of the Red Bulls and previously served as Director of Sales Service and Ticket Operations for the club. Since 2012, he oversaw a 70% increase in "Red Members" (Red Bulls season subscribers) and has accepted the Presidents Club Award for MLS Group Sales on behalf of the club on three separate occasions. Prior to joining the Red Bulls, Ponce served for six years in the Premium Sales department with the New Jersey Nets of the NBA. He is a product of New Jersey having graduated from Centenary University and John F. Kennedy High School in Paterson. Ponce, wife Janice and three children reside in Hackettstown, NJ.
