New York Red Bulls Clinch Spot in 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs

HARRISON, NJ (October 12, 2014) - The New York Red Bulls have clinched a spot in the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs. New York's (12-9-11, 47 pts.) postseason berth was secured following the Houston Dynamo's 3-1 loss against D.C. United earlier today.
The team's exact playoff positioning is still yet to be determined. Depending on the standings, the Red Bulls could be hosting their first home playoff match as early as Wednesday, October 29. New York is unbeaten in six of its last seven following its 3-1 win over Toronto FC last night at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls will battle for improved playoff positioning in its regular season home finale next Sunday when they host the Columbus Crew at 3:00 PM.
MLS Cup Playoffs Ticket Information
Full-Season Ticket holders already have their same seats for the first two playoff matches included in their ticket plan. They will have the opportunity to purchase additional seats to the first home playoff match during a pre-sale starting on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00AM. Blue Members will have the opportunity to purchase seats during a pre-sale starting on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:00AM.
The remaining seats will be made available to the general public starting on Wednesday, October 15 at 1:00 PM by calling 1.877.RBSOCCER or logging onto tickets.newyorkredbulls.com.
