New York Mets Check Presentation Postponed Indefinitely

Metairie, LA - The previously scheduled check presentation by the New York Mets to the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation that was to take place at Airline Park Elementary on Wednesday morning has been postponed indefinitely. The postponement comes because of weather problems that will not allow members of the New York Mets to arrive in time for the presentation.

The 'Meet the Mets' cocktail party at Pat O'Brien's will go on as regularly scheduled. The rescheduled date for the donation and check presentation will be announced at a later date.
