New York Aviators Begin 7-Game Home Stand This Weekend

The N.Y. Aviators, New York City's only minor-league hockey team, and an affiliate of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadians through their affiliation with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, have a 9-2 record at home through the first 28 games of the season. The team is currently in third places in the Federal Hockey League. The Aviators return home this weekend to begin a 7-game home stand beginning with a pair of games against the 2nd place 1000 Island Privateers on Friday and the 1st place Akwesasne Warriors on Saturday at the Aviator Sports & Event Center at the all new Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn.
