Houston Dynamo FC News Release
HOUSTON, TX (Wednesday, June 6, 2012) - The start time for the Houston Dynamo match against FC Dallas, presented by Novo Nordisk, has been changed to 6:30 p.m. CT. The game, which will be played at BBVA Compass Stadium, was originally slated to begin at 4 p.m. CT.
"After the Galaxy game and the challenges created by the afternoon heat, we realized that we needed to make a proactive and cooperative effort to move the kickoff time for the FC Dallas game," said Dynamo President Chris Canetti. "Thanks to a lot of good work by many people, we were able to find a solution that worked for all parties, including our national TV partner ESPN, and push the time back to 6:30pm CST. This is a great result for everyone involved, most importantly the players and fans."
The Texas Derby will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2. It will be the only meeting between the two clubs during the MLS regular season.
A limited number of tickets remain for the match and can be purchased by calling (713) 276-GOAL or by visiting HoustonDynamo.com.
