West Texas Roughnecks News Release
ODESSA, TX. : This season will feature the Roughnecks sporting a new look from head to toe. World renown pro sports jersey manufacturer OT Sports has produced the team's new duds which were unveiled today at 10's Sports Bar and Grill inside the MCM Mall for the public and members of the media. In contrast to past seasons, this year the Roughnecks will have three jersey combinations: white and black sponsored by Academy Sports like always, but also a third blue jersey presented by Taco Villa. "We are very excited and anxious to see the team on the field in their new digs. "I have always been proud of the fact that we have been one of the better looking squads on the field. Seeing these new uniforms, I feel confident that this will be the case again in 2007!", stated team president Tommy Benizio.
The Roughnecks will be able to show these garments off at their first preseason game in Big Spring on March 31st as they take on the San Angelo Stampede Express at the Dorothy Garret Coliseum. Tickets for that game are on sale at the Big Spring Herald or at the Roughnecks main office. The Roughnecks come back home the following week, April 9th to take on the Centex Barracudas. Individual game day tickets are now available so call (432) 332-PASS 7277 or purchase them in person at the Ector County Coliseum box office.
