
New Orleans Recreation Department to receive ABA balls
March 16, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The New Orleans Recreation Department will be the fifth recipient of ABA red, white and blue basketballs as part of the league's program to provide the nation's youth leagues with basketballs. The balls will first be used in the Gulf Coast Basketball Championship on March 24-27 in New Orleans and then donated to the recreation department that conducts youth basketball leagues. The New Orleans Blues, one of the ABA expansion teams for the 2005 season and the ABA Foundation, LLC are pleased to be able to help.
