New Jersey Pride News Release

CLIFTON - The New Jersey Pride, the Garden State's only professional lacrosse team announced today that nine Pride games in 2008 will be televised on CN8, The Comcast Network, a member of the Comcast family of networks.

As a result of this partnership, this will be the first time that the Pride will have continuous and consistent local television exposure for their full summer home-game season.

"We are extremely excited about this deal,'' said Pride General Manager Steve Ferretti. "Partnering with CN8 allows the Pride and Major League Lacrosse to expand our audience and showcase fast-paced, highly skilled professional lacrosse straight into the homes of lacrosse and sports fans alike".

Most of the games will air live throughout CN8's Maine to Virginia and Washington, D.C. footprint, bringing the Pride unprecedented access to more than 9 million Comcast Cable homes across the East Coast.

Each of these games will also be available to Comcast Digital Cable customers via Comcast's ON DEMAND service for up to one week following their original broadcast by selecting "Get Local" and "Sports" then "CN8 Sports" and "Pro Sports."

"To be able to go home and watch the Pride ON DEMAND is amazing,'' said Pride Director of Operations and Corporate Partnership, Francesca DeLorenzo. "As an organization, we could not be happier, and we look forward to bringing an exciting and unique product to CN8."

The team's first televised game will be Saturday, May 31, at 9 p.m. It will be broadcasted live from Denver as the Pride take on the Outlaws.

The Pride will open their home schedule on Friday, June 6, against the Boston Cannons at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, call the Pride offices at (973) 614-1792.
