
New Jersey and Quebec Rained Out

LITTLE FALLS, NJ- The Northern League game scheduled between the New Jersey Jackals and Les Capitales de Quebec at Yogi Berra Stadium was postponed due to bad weather and poor field conditions Friday night. The two clubs will make up the game as part of a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon, Saturday July 20th, with the first game slated for a 5:05 start.
Fans holding individual game tickets for Friday night's game must bring them to the Yogi Berra Stadium box office and exchange them for any other game on the Jackals' 2002 home regular season schedule and up to July 18, 2003. The first 1,000 fans to exchange their tickets for Friday's game will receive Friday's giveaway of a Go Wireless Jackals' Hat.
On Saturday the Jackals will pitch righthanders Joel Bennett (8-1) and Steve Fish (5-2); while Quebec will counter with southpaw Joe Thomas (5-3) and righthander Michel Laplante (0-0).
