Softball fans in New England are in for a treat. The two greatest teams from the New England area take each other on three more times this weekend. The New England Riptide, already a pro team in the National Pro Fastpitch league, play against the powerhouse Stratford Brakettes, who have a record of 27 national championships in 54 years of play. The Brakettes plan to join NPF in 2006, giving softball fans from New England lots to cheer for!

Come cheer on the home team, they NEED your support! Meet Swoopy the mascot, have a chance to win prizes, and stay for autographs after the game. Food and beverages are available, as well as our souvenir stand, including our latest additions: Riptide wristbands--pennants--pink, blue, and gray fitted tank tops--nylon backpacks--Soffe shorts.
As seen on TV..... we hope you all caught a glimpse of Riptide players Ashley Courtney and Stephanie Best as they took on the role of ballgirls (in their Riptide uniforms!) at Fenway Park on Thursday night for the Red Sox-Yankees game. Seeing our players on the legendary field makes the entire Riptide orgnanization proud. And not one to be left out, Riptide mascot Swoopy hung out with Wally the Green Monster for the evening. The Red Sox have been most gracious in their hospitality.
