The New England Riptide Has Three More Home Series If you have been out to the field, we sincerely thank you for your support. The team couldn't do this without you! We hope to see you again before the season ends. If you haven't seen a game yet, you still have a chance. The team needs you in the stands, so come out and cheer on the home team! Get to know the players. After you've seen them play, don't forget to stay after the game for autographs and a chance to say hello to your favorite players!
Riptide Youth Clinic There's still time to register for our final 2005 Riptide Youth Clinic. The clinic is given by Riptide players--here's another chance to get to know some of them and step onto the same field they play on. Monday August 1 and Tuesday August 2, from 9:00 to 12:00 You can sign up for one day for $50, or both days for $90. The clinic is appropriate for all levels, age 9 through high school. It will cover hitting, fielding, throwing, and pitching/catching. Registration will continue until Saturday at 3pm, or until full. Call 866-474-7843.

Riptide in the News....... See the Riptide on Comcast's CN8 tonight at 10pm, when a piece about the team is scheduled to air. Did you see Danielle Henderson in the July 13 issue of Improper Bostonian? She was the selected Female Athlete for their Boston's Best issue. Congratulations Danielle. Riptide around Fenway Park... Several players have now served as ballgirls, in their Riptide uniforms, and others have chatted about the team and the league with people on the Fenway concourse. Swoopy was Wally the Green Monster's guest, for a fun mascot time.
Special Events for this week--Take a walk with us through the decades Wed. July 27--It's "60's Night"--come dressed like you're fresh from Woodstock, best dressed wins a prize. Enjoy some music and trivia from this era! Also on Wednesday, the Blum Family Resource Center Van from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute will be on hand from 5:30-8:00 to provide skin cancer awareness and screening for those interested. You can also join us in supporting melanoma research with the purchase of blue Riptide wristbands--always available at games. Wear the Riptide name with pride and support a good cause at the same time. Thur. July 28--It's "70s Night"--You've seen the show... Come to the game and Have a Nice Day! Once again, best-dressed wins a prize. Fri. July 29--It's "80s Night"--Show us your big hair and leg warmers... best-dressed wins a prize! Sat. July 30--It's "90s Night"--if you were born in the 90s, admission for you is just $5!
SEE YOU AT MARTIN SOFTBALL FIELD! If you are looking for MapQuest directions, you can enter "400 Douglas Rd., Lowell." The stadium is located past Cawley Field (the football stadium), just minutes from Rt. 495. Get off Rt. 495 at Exit 38 (Rt. 38), and go right toward Lowell. In 1/2 mile, turn right on Douglas Rd. Then in 2/10 mile turn right into big parking lot. Stay to left for Riptide gate.
