New England Revolution Schedule: June 13 - June 19 Revs return home to host D.C. United and a public viewing of the U.S.-Italy World Cup game on Sunday
Foxborough, Mass. - The New England Revolution (3-4-3, 12 pts.) will train on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week on the Lower Practice Field at Gillette Stadium in preparation for Saturday's home match against D.C. United. All three sessions will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Media planning to cover practice at Gillette Stadium are required to notify the Revolution Communications office on the day prior to any session they wish to attend in order to guarantee admittance.
The Revolution is in MLS action next when the team hosts Eastern Conference leader D.C. United at Gillette Stadium at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 17 (TV - Fox Sports Net; English Radio - WRKO 680 AM, Spanish Radio - WJDA 1300 AM).
Gates will open at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday for a public viewing of the U.S.-Italy World Cup game. The contest will be shown throughout Gillette Stadium, as well as on both ProVision video boards in the endzones. At halftime of the U.S. game, Revolution head coach Steve Nicol, assistant coach Paul Mariner and director of soccer and former Revs captain Mike Burns will participate a roundtable commentary about the game.
In the Revs' last outing, they stormed back from a 3-1 deficit in stoppage time to earn a 3-3 draw against the Chicago Fire at the team's newly constructed Toyota Park on Sunday, June 11.
Media wishing to attend Saturday's game against United are reminded to notify the Revolution Communications office by the close of business Thursday.
