Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will have Matthew Needham, their 2010 1st round WHL Bantam pick, with the hockey club for the remainder of the hockey season.
The 5'10" 180lb center has played 11 games with the Blazers this season and has 3 goals, 4 assists and 7 points. Needham played 38 games with the Okanagan Hockey Academy Midget AAA Prep Team this season and had 24 goals, 22 assists and 46 points. His team recently lost in a best of three semi-finals playoff series to Blazers prospect Aspen Sterzer and the Midget AAA EDGE Prep Team out of Calgary.
The Blazers remain without defenseman Austin Madaisky, who is out for the season, and forward Brendan Ranford who is expected to be suspended today.
