Fort Collins, CO-The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football team fell to the Nebraska danger, 33-45. This game marks the first loss for the Ice at home in the 2012 season.

The Ice started out with momentum as LB Prince Hall (#40) recovered a Danger fumble. A timeout seemed to do the Ice good because soon after WR James Walton (#6) caught a bomb from QB David Knighton (#5) for a touchdown. Rookie Kicker, Aric Goodman (#9) was good on the PAT. The Danger scored on an Ice kickoff, seconds after Walton (#6) scored. With 3 minutes left in the first quarter, the Danger scored another touchdown.

Goodman (#9) started the second quarter with a failed attempt at a field goal. The Ice came back determined to stop the Danger in their tracks however the Ice defense let them score on their next possession. In another attempt to add to their score, the Ice tried for a field goal however was unsuccessful. The scoreboard remained quiet until DB C.J. Lovett (#7) intercepted a Danger pass for a touchdown with less than 30 seconds left in the half. The Danger ended the half with a successful field goal. The score was 13-24 going into the third quarter.

A back and forth third quarter began with WR Mark Henderson (#4) adding to the Ice's score with a touchdown pass from Knighton (#5). The Ice defense let another Danger touchdown slip by, allowing them to add to their lead. The Ice countered with a touchdown from RB Tobias Robinson (#22). The Danger came back a couple minutes later with yet another touchdown. After struggling to get down the field WR Duane Brooks (#2) caught a pass from Knighton (#5) for a touchdown with less than a minute left in the quarter.

The Ice attempted a field goal to begin the fourth but was once again unsuccessful. An interception by DL Chris Bradwell (#93) gave the Ice a boost but was not able to score. With three minutes left in the game the Danger scored again bringing the final score to 33-45.
