N'Diaye Makes 15 Gatorade Callups

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 15 â The Atlanta Hawks have signed former Asheville Altitude center Mamadou N'diaye for the remainder of the NBA season, making him the 15th NBDL-to-NBA "Gatorade Callup" this season.
Fifteen Gatorade callups is the most that the NBDL has had since beginning competition in November of 2001. The league registered eight callups in the first season and 14 last year. In less than three full seasons, 26 players have received 37 "Gatorade Callups" to play for NBA teams.
N'Diaye played in six games for the Altitude, averaging 21.0 minutes, 8.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. He recorded single-game highs of 17 points against Roanoke on Feb. 7 and 13 rebounds against Huntsville on Feb. 13.
He averaged 14.3 minutes, 5.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in nine games with the Hawks after signing 10-day contracts on February 18 and 28. He was released by the Hawks March 8.
