NBDL daily developments

ON ABC TODAY: Tune in today and Saturday, March 12 to get a behind-the-scenes look at the NBDL through the eyes of Coach Dennis Johnson and the Florida Flame on ABC's Inside Stuff. Parts one and two both air at 1 p.m. ET.

DO I HEAR FOUR? A Fayetteville victory over visiting Huntsville tonight would give Coach Mike Brown's club its first four-game win streak of the season.

STILL IN THE HUNT: Fayetteville remains in the hunt for an NBDL postseason berth, but needs to remain hot to sneak in. A win today would bring the Patriots to within 5½ games of the fourth-place Flight with 12 to play.

EIGHT: The number of road games left on Fayetteville's schedule, which doesn't lead to an optimistic view of climbing into that postseason spot. The Patriots are 1-15 on the road this season.

A DOZEN: The number of games left on Roanoke's regular season schedule and the number of wins it would take to equal the NBDL record for wins in a regular season. Both North Charleston and Greenville won 36 in 2001-02. In fairness, that season was 56 games. This one is 48.

NBDL QUIZ: Asheville Altitude assistant coach Kermit Washington was a first round selection in the 1973 NBA Draft. Can you name the team that made him the fifth overall pick that year?

CONSISTENT KIRK: Florida forward Kirk Haston has been a bane of consistency for the Flame. The first draft selection in Flame history, Haston has been among league leaders all season long in scoring and rebounding and is currently third in both categories at 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

REBOUNDING LEADERS
PG Player Team
12.8 James Thomas Roanoke
11.9 Rodney Bias Huntsville
8.5 Kirk Haston Florida
8.5 Hiram Fuller Florida
7.0 Isiah Victor Roanoke

QUIZ ANSWER: The Los Angeles Lakers made Washington their first pick in 1973.
