TODAY AT THE CROWN: After a two-day Thanksgiving hiatus, NBDL play resumes today when the Roanoke Dazzle travels to the Crown Coliseum to meet the Fayetteville Patriots. Tip off is 7:30 p.m. ET. Roanoke leads the season series 1-0, defeating Fayetteville 114-90 on Nov. 19.

MIND GAMES: Despite being an early entry in the 1995 NBA Draft where he was a first-round selection (29th overall) by the San Antonio Spurs, Roanoke guard Cory Alexander still managed to complete his degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia.

TRACKING THE MVPs Every NBDL MVP from the first three seasons is currently on an NBA roster. Ansu Sesay (2002) is with the Golden State Warriors, Devin Brown (2003) is playing with the San Antonio Spurs and Tierre Brown (2004) is suiting up for the Los Angeles Lakers.

NBDL QUIZ: Which NBDL guard was named the 2000 Mississippi Prep Player of the Year by USA Today?

SWEET 16: In the spirit of continuing to develop new talent, just 16 of the 60 players on NBDL season-opening rosters have previously played in the league.

LEADER OF THE PACK: Asheville Altitude head coach Joey Meyer has won more NBDL games than any other active coach in the league. With a 2-0 start to the current season, Meyer has now won 79 D-League games. Columbus' Jeff Malone is next with 74 and is also off to a 2-0 start.

SAFE AT HOME: NBDL newcomers Florida have been treated to an early-season kindness by the NBDL schedule makers, getting the inaugural Flame season underway with four straight home games. Florida's first road game is Dec. 11 at Huntsville.

QUIZ ANSWER: Asheville point guard Timmy Bowers earned that honor before going on to a stellar collegiate career at Mississippi State.
