BIG TACKO IN A FALL POND: Cleveland Charge center Tacko Fall was named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 28. A two-way player with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the 7-6 Fall averaged 22.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game while leading the Charge to two victories over the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Fall shot 10-of-10 from the field in the first game against the Skyforce and grabbed 17 rebounds in the second game.
EIGHT DAYS A STREAK: The Rio Grande Valley Vipers won all four of their games last week to remain undefeated and improve to 8-0, good for first place in the South Division of the Showcase Cup standings. Rio Grande Valley is led by Trevelin Queen, who is averaging 22.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and a league-high 2.8 steals. The team ranks in the top five in scoring average (118.1), rebounds per game (50.5), field goal percentage (47.6) and steals per game (13.4).
DEPAUL REED: Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul Reed, the 2020-21 NBA G League Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year, made his NBA G League season debut last week. The former DePaul University standout posted back-to-back double-doubles and averaged 24.5 points and 11.0 rebounds in two wins over Raptors 905. The Blue Coats are now 6-1 and look for their fifth consecutive victory when they host the Long Island Nets on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. ET on NBAGLeague.com.
San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray (Austin Spurs, 2016-17) is filling the stat sheet on a nightly basis in the NBA, averaging career highs of 19.1 points, 8.5 re- bounds, 8.1 assists and 2.0 steals. On Nov. 26, the former University of Washington star tied his career high with 29 points and added 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals in a win against the Boston Celtics.
Stockton Kings center Neemias Queta notched an NBA G League season-best seven blocks in a 102-84 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars on Nov. 26.
NBA G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson poured in 31 points, to go with five assists, five rebounds and three steals against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Nov. 26. Over the last two games, the 17-year-old is averaging 26.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists.
The Delaware Blue Coats showed their defensive prowess by recording an NBA G League season-best 22 steals, including a team-high five from guard Jaden Springer, in a 120-94 win over Raptors 905 on Nov. 27.
