FEELS LIKE HOME: Philadelphia 76ers two-way player Paul Reed was named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Wednesday, Feb. 10 through Sunday, Feb. 14. The Orlando native aver- aged 24.7 points and 11.0 rebounds while leading the Delaware Blue Coats to a 3-0 record, and earned praise from the 76ers' Tobias Harris. Reed and the Blue Coats will face the Greensboro Swam tonight at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
J.K.'S ROLLING: NBA G League Ignite's Jonathan Kuminga put together a strong opening week by averaging 22.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in his team's 3-0 start. He recorded a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds in a 113-105 victory over Raptors 905 on Feb. 13, including 10 points and four rebounds in the fourth quarter. Kuminga and Ignite, now 4-0, will take on the Erie BayHawks tomorrow at 3 p.m. on ESPNU.
TRE AND LUKA: Propelled by San Antonio Spurs assignment players Tre Jones and Luka Samanic, the Austin Spurs opened the NBA G League season with three straight victories. Jones averaged 21.3 points and a league-leading 11.3 assists in Week 1, while Samanic averaged 19.7 points and 12.7 rebounds. Austin, now 4-0, will meet the Canton Charge today at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
Toronto Raptors forward Chris Boucher, the 2018-19 NBA G League Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year with Raptors 905, has been one of the NBA's top reserves this season. Boucher is averaging career highs of 13.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks (fourth in the NBA). The former University of Oregon standout scored 17 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in a 137-115 victory at the Washington Wizards on Feb. 10.
TOP PERFORMANCES FROM WEEK 1
On Feb. 10, New York Knicks two-way player Jared Harper registered 31 points and 12 assists and Knicks assignment player Ignas Brazdeikis recorded 28 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Westchester Knicks past the Fort Wayne Mad Ants 125-120.
Santa Cruz Warriors guard Jeremy Lin contributed 31 points and nine assists in a 124-116 victory over Westchester on Feb. 13. Lin connected on seven three-pointers.
NBA G League Ignite guard Daishen Nix tallied 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes off the bench in a 113-105 victory over Raptors 905 on Feb. 13.
Oklahoma City Thunder two-way player Moses Brown scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as the Oklahoma City Blue defeated Canton 141- 110 on Feb. 14. The 7-1 center averaged 20.3 points and 14.0 rebounds in Week 1.
