ERIE'S GARRETT TEMPLE SIGNS WITH CHARLOTTE
The Charlotte Bobcats signed guard Garrett Temple of the Erie BayHawks for the 12th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2010-11 NBA Development League season. Temple's call-up increases the number of current NBA players with NBA D-League experience, including players currently on assignment to their NBA D-League affiliates, to 87. In 24 total games (16 starts) this season with Erie and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Temple, an NBA D-League All-Star, averaged 14.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists. After spending three games with the San Antonio Spurs to start the season, Temple was called up by the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 25. He appeared in nine games with the Bucks, averaging 1.9 points in 9.2 minutes. Temple (6-5, 180) is a second-year pro out of LSU who earned three GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA last season. In 30 games with the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs, Temple averaged 4.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 11.8 minutes. Over four years at LSU, Temple averaged 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 134 games and was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team in 2008.
AUSTIN'S LEO LYONS NAMED NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Leo Lyons of the Austin Toros was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of Feb. 28. Lyons, a 6-9, 240-pound forward out of Missouri who has played in the NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, led Austin to a 2-1 record on the week, averaging 31.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
In a two-game split with Texas last week, Lyons scored 34 points in a 138-136 loss on Wednesday, and netted 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting in Austin's 132-122 win on Thursday. On Saturday, Lyons had a game-high 29 points and eight rebounds, leading to the Toros to a 115-96 win over Sioux Falls.

Renaldo Major had 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists to lead Dakota over Reno. Mike Anderson added 22 points and eight rebounds for the Wizards. Danny Green led Reno with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

21 players with NBA D-League experience competed in seven NBA games last night, two as starters.
Houston's Chuck Hayes started and had eight points and six rebounds in a win over Sacramento.
Orlando's Earl Clark had nine points and nine rebounds in a loss to Portland.
Minnesota's Jonny Flinn scored 11 points in 13 minutes in a loss to Dallas.
