TOP PROSPECTS HIGHLIGHT 2011 ALL-NBA D-LEAGUE SHOWCASE TEAMS
Top NBA prospects Jeff Adrien (Rio Grande Valley Vipers), Joe Alexander (Texas Legends), Othyus Jeffers (Iowa Energy), Marcus Landry and Jeremy Lin (Reno Bighorns) were named to the 2011 All-NBA D-League Showcase First Team, as named by a panel of NBA scouts, NBA D-League head coaches and media following the four-day, 16-game NBA D-League Showcase that took place this week in South Padre Island, Texas.
FRITZ RELIEVED AS SKYFORCE HEAD COACH
The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced last night that Tony Fritz has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the NBA Development League franchise. Assistant coach Duane Ticknor has been named interim head coach.
BOSTON CELTICS ASSIGN AVERY BRADLEY TO NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE AFFILIATE MAINE RED CLAWS
Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley was assigned to the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced yesterday. The assignment marks the 30th time in the 2010-11 season an NBA player has been assigned to an NBA D-League affiliate, and it is the first assignment for Bradley, a rookie out of Texas.

Erie's Ivan Johnson poured in 46 points, the most points for any NBA D-League player this season, in a 123-109 victory over Maine. Avery Bradley scored 11 points in his debut for Maine.
Anthony Goods recorded a season-high 23 points and scored the last four points of the game to seal a win for Dakota. Chris Johnson picked up his twelfth double-double of the season with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
The Flash chipped away at a 22-point deficit to defeat the Stampede in overtime. Ronald Dupree had a game-high 22 points in the win for Utah.
Tulsa had seven players in double figures in a victory over New Mexico. Oklahoma City assignee, Cole Aldrich led Tulsa with 18 points. Shane Edwards scored a game-high 24 points for New Mexico in the loss.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
33 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, seven as starters.
Philadelphia's Lou Williams scored 25 points on 7-of-14 shooting in win over Milwaukee.
C.J. Miles came off the bench for the Jazz to score 20 points to go along with two rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a win over Cleveland.
