Tulsa's Wink Adams led seven players in double-figures scoring with a team-high 24 points and six assists. Deron Washington had 20 points and eight rebounds for the 66ers, while Larry Owens finished with 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and Moses Ehambe added 16 points off the bench. Cecil Brown contributed 11 points and eight boards, as Marcus Lewis had his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Latavious Williams put up 10 points and nine boards off the bench The Energy were led by Curtis Stinson with 30 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Mark Tyndale came off the bench for 22 points and seven boards, while Denham Brown added 16 points and seven rebounds. Pat Carroll added 14 points for Iowa.
