AUSTIN'S CURTIS JERRELLS NAMED NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Austin Toros guard Curtis Jerrells was named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played during the week of March 15. The award is the second for Jerrells' this year, and the third time a Toro has been honored this season. Jerrells led the Toros to a 2-1 record last week, including road victories over the Dakota Wizards and Bakersfield Jam. For the week, Jerrells averaged 32.7 points, shooting 56 percent (37-of-66) from the field, to go with 6.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds. Jerrells scored more than 30 points in each game last week, including a 33-point, 10-assists double-double in Austin's 118-113 road win over the Bakersfield Jam on March 20.
NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE EXPANDS USE OF FASTDRAW DIAGRAMMING SOFTWARE
Fast Model Technologies, a New York limited liability company, which has provided all 16 NBA Development League (NBA D-League) coaching staffs with access to its exclusive play diagramming FastDraw software for the past two seasons, has expanded its line of available programs to include FastScout, the latest addition to the FastFamily of products, to NBA D-League coaching staffs for the first time. Throughout the remainder of the 2009-10 season, NBA D-League coaching staffs will have access to FastScout providing coaches with an improved and more efficient scouting process including organized, professional, and streamlined scouting reports for each opponent, a software that is fully integrated with the FastDraw program. FastScout is an alternative to hand written, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and/or any other scouting report, saving users countless hours.

Renaldo Major scored 21 points and Darren Cooper added 18 points and five rebounds to lead Dakota over Maine. Lester Hudson, on assignment from the Memphis Grizzlies, added 13 points and six rebounds for the Wizards. Russell Robinson tallied 20 points, 10 assists and five rebounds for Maine. Paul Davis added 14 points and eight rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
26 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 10 NBA games last night, seven as starters.
C.J. Miles started and scored 23 points for the Jazz in a win over Boston.
Sonny Weems came off the bench to score 13 points for Toronto in a win over Minnesota.
Reggie Williams scored 29 points off the bench for the Warriors in a loss to Phoenix.
