Lester Hudson, on assignment from Boston and playing in his first game for Maine, tallied 25 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a victory over Erie. His Celtics teammate Bill Walker, also on assignment, added 16 points.

Donell Taylor led Erie with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Jackie Manuel had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

TOROS ADD EDDIE BASDEN

The Austin Toros today announced they acquired Eddie Basden and waived Ryan Bright. Basden will join the Toros on the road and play on Friday night against the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. Basden, 26, is a 6-5, 216 guard/forward who played collegiate ball at Charlotte and earned Conference Player of the year in 2005, and Defensive Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005. Basden appeared in 19 games for the Chicago Bulls and averaged 2.1 points per game during the 2005-06 season. He averaged 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists while in Turkey competing in the Euroleague.

T-BIRDS ADD SHANE EDWARDS

The Albuquerque Thunderbirds announced today that the team has acquired forward Shane Edwards. Edwards was on the Thunderbirds training camp roster prior to the start of the 2009-10 season. Edwards played his college ball at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, where he averaged 11.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and shot 48.4% during his senior season (2008-09). He attended the Thunderbirds open tryouts in October, and was one of the final two players cut from the training camp roster.

D-FENDERS ADD SASHA CUIC AND LAWRENCE MCKENZIE

It was announced today that the Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired Sasha Cuic and 2008-09 returning D-Fenders player, Lawrence McKenzie. Cuic, a 6-10 forward originally from Croatia, played three years at Oregon State University before returning to Europe to play overseas. In his final season at Oregon State, Cuic played in 29 games, averaging 11.6 points and 2.8 rebounds. McKenzie, a 6-2 guard, finished his collegiate career at the University of Minnesota after spending two seasons at the University of Oklahoma. With the Golden Gophers, McKenzie averaged 13.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists from 2006-08. McKenzie played 10 games with the D-Fenders in 2009 where he averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 assists per game.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

35 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 12 NBA games last night, five as starters.

Devin Brown started and scored 13 points for New Orleans in a 95-87 win over Detroit.

Milwaukee's Ersan Ilyasova started and scored a career-high 24 points in a 107-106 overtime loss to the Lakers.

Houston's Aaron Brooks had 23 points and seven assists in a 111-101 loss to Denver.
