FORT WAYNE'S CHRIS HUNTER SIGNS WITH NEW YORK KNICKS
The New York Knicks signed Chris Hunter of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants making him the 24th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2008-09 NBA Development League season. Hunter joins 78 other NBA players with NBA D-League experience. A 2009 NBA D-League All-Star, Hunter, 6-11, appeared in 47 games, all starts, for the Mad Ants this season averaging 19.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 32.8 minutes. He scored in double figures on 44 occasions, including twice scoring a season-high 34 points (Feb. 19, in a 99-90 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce and April 5, in a 105-86 win over the Tulsa 66ers). For his efforts during the season, Hunter was named to the All-NBA D-League Second Team.

TUESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Tuesday's games:
Seven 14ers scored in double figures, led by 33 points from Josh Davis. Dominique Coleman added 19 points to go with 13 rebounds, five assists and five steals. Eddie Gill and John Lucas combined for 32 points and eight assists in the win.
Maurice Rice led the BayHawks, matching Davis with a game-high 33 points. Erik Daniels added 15 points and 11 assists while Jackie Manuel and Ivan Harris poured In 18 points apiece.
With the victory, Colorado advances to the second round of the D-League playoffs, and will host the winner of tonight's Idaho Stampede vs. Austin Toros match-up.

Six players with D-League experience competed in three NBA games last night, one as a starter.
Philadelphia's Louis Williams tallied 14 points off the bench for the 76ers.
Shannon Brown scored nine points to go with three rebounds and two assists for the Los Angeles Lakers.
