SATURDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Saturday's games:
The BayHawks had five players in double figures including Ivan Harris with a game high 26 points and Erik Daniels, who marked his league leading 29th double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Maureece Rice notched a double-double of 20 points and 13 assists earning adidas player of the game honors.
Coleman Collins led the Mad Ants with 21 points in the loss. Taj McCullough and Walker Russell Jr. each added 16 points for Fort Wayne.
Keith Brumbaugh, Bobby Jones and Charlotte Bobcats assignee Alexis Ajinca led the Skyforce with 19 points each. Ajinca added a season-high 15 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Kasib Powell (14) and David Bailey (11) also posted double figures after being recognized before the game as two of the 20 greatest players in team history.
Cedric Bozeman had a solid all-around game with 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Kedrick Brown finished with 22 and Marcus Campbell recorded a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds for Anaheim.
Malik Hairston scored 42 points to lead Austin, while Squeaky Johnson posted 25 and dished out nine assists. Dwayne Jones posted his 20th double-double of the season with 24 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Ryan Bright scored 14 points, a team-high 10 assists and hauled in nine boards.
Rio Grande Valley had five players in double-figures. Jared Jordan's 20 points led the Viper effort. He also dished out 10 assists for his 12th double-double of the season. Cliff Clinkscales dished out 10 assists as he posted 12 points. Trent Strickland and Ernest Scott each added 19 points and Julian Sensely scored 13 to round out the double-digit scorers for the Vipers.
Kevin Kruger poured in a game and season-high 24 points as the Utah Flash clinched the West Division title and the second-seed in the NBA Development League playoffs. Ronald Dupree scored 21 points, while Boston Celtics assignee J.R. Giddens added 20 points and Andre Ingram chipped in 13 points off the Flash bench.
Lance Allred scored 16 points to pace Idaho. Mildon Ambres and Lanny Smith had 14 each, while Jamaal Tatum and Brent Petway both scored 13.
The Bighorns scoring was led by David Noel with 32 points, along with 11 rebounds and 10 assists, for his second triple-double of the
season. The Bighorns had six players in double figures, five of which had twenty or more points. Rod Benson added a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The 14ers were led by Denver assignee Sonny Weems, who had 32. Trey Gilder notched a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
