IOWA'S ANTHONY TOLLIVER CALLED UP TO NEW ORLEANS HORNETS

The New Orleans Hornets signed Iowa Energy forward Anthony Tolliver, making him the fifth GATORADE Call-Up of the 2008-09 NBA Development League season and the 124th overall since the league began play in 2001. Tolliver, 6-9, has appeared in three games for the Energy this season, averaging 10.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 28.3 minutes. Prior to his stint with the Energy, Tolliver played in 19 games for the San Antonio Spurs where he averaged 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.9 minutes. During his time with the Spurs, Tolliver was assigned to the team's NBA D-League affiliate Austin Toros where he saw action in six games and averaged 17.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Wednesday's games

Keith Clark scored 19 of his 25 points in the second half as the Tulsa 66ers rallied for a 113-103 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Chris Richard and Jeremy Kelly scored 18 points apiece for the 66ers, who ended a three-game slide and also stopped a two-game winning streak by the Vipers. Derrick Dial had 17 points and nine assists for the 66ers and newly acquired Gary Forbes scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter in his Tulsa debut.

Jared Jordan scored 18 points, Alpha Bangura added 17 and Marcus Hubbard grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds for the Vipers.

Marcus Williams tallied 22 points and Charles Gaines added 19 and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Austin Toros defeated the Anaheim Arsenal, 101-95. All five Toros starters scored in double figures, combining for 88 points. Andre Brown registered 18 points and San Antonio Spurs assignee Malik Hairston contributed 12 for Austin

James White, who exploded for a D-League season-best 47 points in Tuesday's defeat, racked up 31 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the field. Cedric Bozeman chipped in with 25 points for the Arsenal.

Will Conroy had 29 points, seven assists and six steals Wednesday night to lead the Albuquerque Thunderbirds to a 105-98 victory over the Idaho Stampede. David Monds scored 22 points, Noel and Keith McLeod added 17 apiece and Jasper Johnson swept 18 rebounds for the T-Birds.

Coby Karl scored 28 points, Luke Jackson added 20 and eight assists and Mildon Ambres scored 10 points for the Stampede.

23 players with D-League experience competed in10 NBA games last night, eight as starters and six that scored 20+ points.

As starters for Houston, Rafer Alston and Von Wafer scored 23 and 21 respectively. Alston added eight assists.

Starting for the Golden State Warriors, Kelenna Azubuike registered 21 points. Teammate CJ Watson added nine.

Milwaukee's Ramon Sessions notched 21 points and dished seven assists in the Bucks 133-99 victory over the Mavericks.

Miami's Daequan Cook finished with 20 points in last night's action.

Andray Blathe of the Wizards scored 20 points in 26 minutes, as Washington defeated Sacramento 110-107.
