WEDNESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Wednesday's D-League games
v Kedrick Brown, Mo Charlo and Marcus Campbell each scored 21 points in the Arsenal's one-point last-second victory over the Energy. Campbell chipped in with 10 rebounds in the win, as well.
v On assignment from the Chicago Bulls, Shannon Brown finished with 21 points for the Energy while Jeff Horner scored 12 points and dished out 15 assists in the loss.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
Nineteen players with D-League experience competed in seven NBA games last night, four as starters. Here are the highlights:
v Matt Carroll scored 18 points in just over 27 minutes for the Charlotte Bobcats while teammate and fellow former D-Leaguer Ryan Hollins netted 11 points in 22 minutes.
v Toronto's Jamario Moon fished with nine points, pulling down 14 rebounds in 27 minutes for the Raptors.
v Kelenna Azubuike scored 10 points for the Golden State Warriors in 24 minutes of action.
TRADE WINDS: The Austin Toros and Albuquerque Thunderbirds yesterday completed a trade that sent guard Cheyne Gadson from the Toros to the Thunderbirds in exchange the newly acquired center, Yemi Nicholson, who was dealt to Austin. This season for the Toros, Gadson averaged 10.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 34 appearances (18 starts).
