SUNDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Sunday's D-League games
v Daequan Cook, in his first game on assignment from the Miami Heat, scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds in route to the Iowa Energy's win over Albuquerque. Doug Thomas contributed with 16 points and 14 rebounds in the win.
v Thunderbird Kevin Pittsnogle finished with a game-high 27 points, adding five rebounds, in the loss.
v Earl Calloway scored 18 points, dished out 11 assists and pulled down six rebounds for the Mad Ants in the win over Sioux Falls. Eric Smith chipped in with a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double performance.
v Sioux Falls' Carl Elliott netted a game-high 27 points in the loss.
v Rod Benson scored 24 points and grabbed a game-high 22 rebounds in the win over Bakersfield as teammate Blake Ahearn scored a game-high 35 points.
v Bakersfield's Trey Johnson and Justin Reed each scored 25 for the Jam as Mateen Cleaves finished with 26 points.
v Brian Chase scored a career-high 39 points as Los Angeles defeated the Idaho Stampede at the STAPLES center as five other D-Fenders scored in double-figures.
v Randy Livinsgton led the way for Idaho with 20 points and 13 assists in the loss.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
Twenty Nine players with D-League experience competed in 11 NBA games last night, four as starters. Here are the highlights:
v Rafer Alston scored 16 points and eight assists in a 33-minute start for the Houston Rockets.
v Charlotte Bobcat Matt Carroll finished with 15 points and six rebounds in a 37 minutes as a starter.
v Andray Blatche of the Washington Wizards netted 11 points and grabbed three rebounds in 22 minutes.
