
Golden State's Perovic Re-Assigned To D-League's Bakersfield Jam

NEW YORK, NY - Center Kosta Perovic of the Warriors has been re-assigned to the team's D-League affiliate Bakersfield Jam, Golden State Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, Chris Mullin announced today.
Perovic appeared in one game with the Warriors, scoring four points on 2-of-2 shooting from the field, grabbing four rebounds and recording one block in a win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 19.
The rookie was originally assigned to the D-League's Jam on Nov. 18, 2007, and averaged 8.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 19 games. He was recalled on Jan. 6. This marks the 43rd time an NBA player has been assigned to the D-League this season.
Prior to his NBA career, the 23 year-old from Serbia played five Euroleague seasons with Partizan Beograd. Last season he led the Serbian club to a berth in the Top 16, while averaging 10.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
Perovic will be available for Bakersfield's next game, a home contest against the Anaheim Arsenal on Friday, March 7. This game, as well as every other D-League match can be seen live and for free by logging onto http://www.d-league.com./watch.
